This Concept Map, created with IHMC CmapTools, has information related to: Privacy and FSF, Tim Cook Very complicated situation Though Farook's phone may have valuable evidence, I do not think that Apple should develop this technology. Bray's most convincing point was that this could set a very dangerous precedent, in which the FBI, police, and even foreign countries could take advantage. When it comes down to it, this technology can be dangerous when in the wrong hands, and I agree with Tim Cook. The FBI has proven untrustworthy with capabilities such as this. There is a chance that Farook already destroyed all evidence on his phone, which means that this dangerous techonolgy would created for nothing. I honestly understand both sides of this argument, which makes this a difficult decision, but I do not think Apple should create this software. The government (not just the US's) can not be trusted with this type of software., Privacy and FSF Tim Cook, Privacy and FSF Libre Planet
