Learning Issues-Group 1


1.  What is enterocutaneous Fistula? In this it appeared as a result of Crohn's Disease.  A 
fistula is when there is a gap between the intestines and the skin, or other area of the 
body.

2.  Which comes first: Ileum or Jejunum?  We found that the jejunum comes first.

3.  What is 'pta' stand for?  We were unable to find this information.  We were guessing it 
was "prescription" or "order".

4.  What are side effects of Azulfidine?  May cause nausea, vomiting, anorexia, altered 
taste.
