PROGNOSIS JocelynŐs prognosis is uncertain until joint development is complete around eleven to twelve months of age. At this time Jocelyn will be reevaluated. If her joint has stabilized and her condition improved, surgery may not be required and the prognosis is good. If surgery is required, the prognosis normally ranges from fair to excellent. If Jocelyn receives the proper post surgical care, such as proper weight management, her chances of leading a normal, active life are very good.
