Prognosis While Jocelyn has moderate to severe hip dysplasia, she is a very young animal and has very little osteoarthritis yet, as evidenced by her radiographs. Therefore, her prognosis after a triple pelvic osteotomy is excellent. Since this procedure is intended to prevent the development of arthritis, Jocelyn should have very good long-term joint health. In addition, JocelynŐs owners are committed to her care and well-being, and will provide appropriate follow-up care.
