Clinical Signs and History OwnerÕs Complaint: The foal has a swollen right hind fetlock. The foal is very lame on the right hind limb and refuses to use it. The mare might have stepped on the foalÕs leg. Present History: The foal is otherwise normal except for the lameness, and is nursing normally. Past History: The mare is current on her vaccinations and de-worming. The foal however has not been vaccinated or de-wormed. The foal and mare are part of the owners small herd.
