Plan of Action

Radiographs of left forelimb from metacarpus distally- lateral, dorso-palmar, and 2 
obliques- this will help to determine the extent of bone damage

CBC- help determine the extent of inflammation and may point to other problems, 
especially sepsis

Impression smear/culture of purulent exudate from draining tract- determine cause of 
infection/abscess 

Culture and sensitivity- determine best course of antibiotic/antifungal treatment
