Prognosis

The prognosis for this foal is fair to favorable since there is only one joint 
involved, no 
bone was involved, the condition was detected early, and aggressive treatment 
was was 
done.  The condition was detected before irreversible damage occurred to the 
joint and 
this is what mainly determines a favorable prognosis.
