Specialty Exams Clinical Pathology: The findings are all within normal range. Radiographs: Lateral: There is a complete distal olecranon fracture. It appears to be transverse and articular, extending through the semilunar notch. The displaced fragment is being pulled proximally by the triceps muscle group. The olecranon growth plate does not appear to be involved. The condylar growth plates and those of the radius are intact as well. Pre-DP: The olecranon is displaced proximally, but there is no medial or lateral displacement.
