Plan of Action

In order to properly diagnose and treat this Limosine bull calf we would like to perform the following procedures:

Radiographs of the matacarpal-phalangeal joint (4 views) specifically looking for fractures, physis damage, and sequestrum formation.
CBC with chemistry profile
Culture of the purulent exudate for future treatment
Neurological examination

We would also like to ask the owner if the calf received an effective dose of colostrum within the first 24 hours of life since its injury may have prevented it from nursing.
