Flicker vertigo

Flicker vertigo is described as distraction and fatigue that occurs because of extended exposure to flashing lights or shadows. In a piloting situation, flicker vertigo is likely to occur when the sun’s rays reflect from the blades of fixed wing aircraft propellers, or from the rotors of rotary wing aircraft.
