Hoof Complications, Hands-On Physical Exam includes TPR, Distance exam in which we look at General Demeanor: bright, alert and responsive (BAR), Intra-Operative Procedures include use of manual and mechanical tools Hoof Trimming Knives, HOOF TRIMMING: Large & Small Ruminants comprises of Intra-Operative Procedures, Disarticulation & Amputation include Checking surgical wound for inflammation or infection (every 2 days)., After-care of the Patient for trimming include Maintaining a clean, DRY environment: no objects that can cause damage to the hoof., Disarticulation & Amputation include Broad spectrum antibiotics (e.g. pen-strep) can be administered every 2 days for chances of infection.
